SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar. 24, 2015-- Plum Creek Timber Company, Inc. (NYSE: PCL) today announced that Laura Clise will join the company as director, sustainability effective March 30, 2015. Clise will be responsible for implementing and enhancing the company’s sustainability program.

Clise joins Plum Creek from Areva Inc., a nuclear and renewable energy supplier, where she recently directed external communications and corporate citizenship efforts, and previously served as director, sustainable development and continuous improvement. She has been a Net Impact Corporate Advisory Council member since 2012, and was selected as an Aspen Institute First Mover Fellow in 2013.

Clise earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Carleton College, and a Masters of Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
