Plum Creek Names Tom Lindquist to Newly Created Position of Executive Vice President - Real Estate and Strategic Business Development

SEATTLE, Nov 30, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Plum Creek Timber Company, Inc.(NYSE:PCL) named Tom Lindquist to the newly created post of Executive VicePresident - Real Estate and Strategic Business Development to oversee activitiesin the company's 7.8 million acre land portfolio.

Lindquist, previously Executive Vice President of Global Sales and CorporateAlliances at Trammell Crow Company, will report directly to Plum Creek Presidentand Chief Executive Officer Rick Holley.

Lindquist, 41, will have overall responsibility for Plum Creek's real estateportfolio and for developing opportunities in the company's holdings throughoutthe United States. During his sixteen-year career at Trammell Crow Company hehas been responsible for all phases of real estate development includingpartnership structuring and pre-development activity. Since 1996 he has heldvarious senior leadership roles in the Corporate Real Estate Services andOutsourcing businesses. In his current role, he also led strategic planningefforts in the Global Services Group for the implementation of new industryfocused business units. He has an MBA from Harvard University and a Bachelor ofBusiness Administration from the University of Washington.
