Plum Creek Donates $75,000 to Aid Victims in Southeast Asia

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 5, 2005--The Plum Creek Foundationhas donated $75,000 to support the relief efforts in Southeast Asia.The Foundation contributed $50,000 to CARE, one of the largestinternational humanitarian organizations. CARE representatives are onthe ground helping those in need in countries impacted by the recentearthquake and tsunamis. The Foundation also donated $25,000 to theNorthwest Medical Teams Disaster Relief Fund. This organization isdispatching medical volunteers, including physicians, nurses andparamedics, to Thailand, Sri Lanka and Indonesia to aid in the reliefeffort.
