FEDERAL WAY, Wash., June 16, 2008 — The Pacific Rim Bonsai Collection is pleased to present a contemporary art exhibit entitled “bigART at smallTREES.” Portland, OR artist Tore Djupedal is a multi-talented artist who works in a variety of mediums and a constantly evolving and expanding range of styles. Within the last year, he has worked with brown paper shopping bags to create colorful geometric sculptures and installations. In the exhibit “bigART at smallTREES”, he has moved to organic forms in natural color, abstract yet with clear reference to earth and trees in the environment of the Pacific Rim Bonsai Collection.
