What: Keys to a new Habitat home built by Weyerhaeuser volunteers will be presented by company employees to a local Federal Way family at a blessing/dedication ceremony. Local employees from area Weyerhaeuser facilities teamed with the Seattle/King County Habitat for Humanity chapter to build the single-family home. This is the last of the 32 homes built by Weyerhaeuser in the United States and Canada to mark the 25th anniversary of the Mount St. Helens eruption. Weyerhaeuser announced "Project Habitat" last year in remembrance of the Mount St. Helens 1980 eruption-as a $1 million campaign to build houses for families in 18 states and three Canadian provinces.
