Weyerhaeuser's Retail Experience Network integrates retail knowledge and turnkey solutions with nationwide printing and packaging expertise to meet customers' retail-specific needs. Products and services include creative and structural design, primary packages, point-of purchase displays, contract packaging/fulfillment, logistics, and project management.

Known for its expertise in retail and specialty packaging, Wilton Connor Packaging became a joint venture with Weyerhaeuser in 1998 and wholly owned in 2003. According to David M. Bowen, vice president of Weyerhaeuser's retail centers, the transition has provided Weyerhaeuser with the basis for expanding its retail expertise.

"Under Weyerhaeuser's leadership, Wilton Connor Packaging continued to provide a unique service to the retail industry," said Bowen. "We've completed the transition by changing the name to Weyerhaeuser and adding more retail centers to strengthen what we have to offer our customers."

In addition, three printing centers located in Tucker, Ga.; Hillsboro, Ore.; and Richwood, Ky., will offer enhanced graphics capabilities as part of the Retail Experience Network. Two retail customer centers located in Bentonville, Ark., and Cincinnati, Ohio will focus on select retailers and consumer products companies.

"Combined with the capabilities of our packaging plant system, we're now able to offer a greater breadth of products and services to our customers," said Bowen.
